GMU Holds an Interview for the Overseas Graduates Studying in China in 2018

    On the evening of September 26th, the Cameroon Scholarship Program for Overseas Graduates Studying in China was held in Huangjin Campus. More than 20 experts from schools and affiliated hospitals of GMU participated in the interview.

    Before the interview, GMU president Liu Qian, stressed to strict interview discipline and ensure the effectiveness of the interview, and spare no effort to ensure the success of the first batch of the overseas graduates' studying in China. Zhong Fuyou, the associate dean of the School of International Education (SIE) of GMU, introduced the interview and the related matters.

    Subsequently, the experts were divided into three groups to conduct the interview.
    In the meantime, Liu Qian conducted an English interview for applicants for pediatric surgery.


    On that evening, 21 undergraduates from Cameroon participated in the interview. The interview is divided into professional, professional foundation, scientific research ability, comprehensive quality and other sections to test the comprehensive ability of students.
    During the interview, Professor Raymond Mbede, director of the Higher Education Examination Center of the Ministry of Education of Cameroon, greeted the students and exchanged views with President Liu Qian. He hoped that this project will further expand exchanges and cooperation in the medical and health fields between the two countries and he invited President Liu Qian to visit Cameroon.
    The Cameroon Medical Overseas Graduates Program is also the first large-scale screening of outstanding undergraduates from medical colleges and universities in Cameroon in recent years to carry out academic education in China.
