School of Rehabilitation Has the Celebration of the 10th Anniversary

    On the morning of October 6th, the 10th Anniversary Summary & the First Rehabilitation Forum was held in Huangjin Campus of GMU. GMU vice presidents Liu Min, Ye Junming, other leaders and guests as well as all the therapists of the Third Affiliated Hospital of GMU (TAHGMU) and nearly 200 students from the School of Rehabilitation attended the event.
 

    The theme of the event was "Showing New Examples, Causing New Sparks, Seeking New Developments". Ye Junming firstly made a speech in which he fully affirmed the development of the School of Rehabilitation over the past 10 years. He hoped the School of Rehabilitation to aim at the construction of the "Five Major Projects", with the goal of cultivating both virtuous and technological talents. In the blessing of leaders and guests, this event was officially launched.
 

    Sun Xiaoqin, the associate dean of the School of Rehabilitation, introduced the current situation and vision of the development of sports rehabilitation in China on behalf of Professor Jiao Wei, and made the participants have a new understanding of the development of sports rehabilitation.
 

    Chang Dongmei, the deputy director of PT Department of Beijing Boai Hospital affiliated to China Rehabilitation Research Center, introduced the concept of modern Bobath, demonstrated the clinical application prospects of this technology, and broadened the horizon of the School of Rehabilitation students.
 

    Liu Xuan, Director of Occupational Therapy Department of China Rehabilitation Research Center, explained the clinical thinking and practice of Occupational Therapy for hemiplegic patients, and provided new ideas for the treatment of special groups.
 

    Tang Xiaodong from the TAHGMU, explored the new direction of the development of rehabilitation treatment center.
 

    During the interactive session, experts and listeners had a heated academic discussion.
