GMU Carries out Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation Training for Dormitory Administrators

    On the afternoon of October 10th, GMU carried out the training of knowledge and skills on Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for dormitory administrators. The training was conducted by Liao Jiayou and Zhong Wenting from the First Affiliated Hospital of GMU (FAHGMU). All dormitory administrators participated in the training.

    The two teachers started with the questions of what CPR is, why CPR should be performed, what the significance of CPR should be, and under what circumstances CPR should be performed. They gave detailed and popular explanations based on cases and animations. At the same time, the human model was used to explain and demonstrate the structure of the human body, and the location, frequency, depth of chest compressions and the method of opening the airway to eliminate foreign bodies, as well as the key points of artificial respiration were taught in detail.

    After the training, the dormitory administrators said that they had gained a lot of skills through training.
