On the morning of November 3rd, hosted by Youth League Committee and Division of Students’ Affairs, and jointly undertaken by FAHGMU and A&A, a Campus Air Medical Emergency Rescue Drill was conducted in Huangjin Campus, which brought a fresh and exciting teaching experience to the teachers and students.

At 9:00 a.m., an A&A lecturer gave a lecture on medical rescue knowledge in the teaching building. The lecturer introduced the convenience and advantages of helicopter rescue to students from the aspects of helicopter rescue, actual rescue cases and rescue aircraft types. The lecturer said that since its establishment in 2006, A&A had been committed to the business of helicopter medical treatment and rescue, and will continue to increase investment.

After the lecture, the on-site teaching of the first aid knowledge and open-space medical rescue was carried out in the playground. With the help of the staff and volunteer team and the first aid association of GMU, the on-site teaching of emergency rescue measures such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation and fracture treatment were vividly demonstrated.

Subsequently, the air rescue experience was carried out. Teachers and students of GMU also participated in the test flight. Liu yu, who participated in the test flight, said that in this experience, both the speed and the internal equipment of the helicopter played a great advantage in the emergency rescue.

Zhang Lin, who participated in this activity, said “For us the medical students, I think this activity has improved our clinical medical operation skills and helped us understand the standardized operation of air rescue. In the future, I will work harder to learn clinical medicine knowledge.”
