At noon on January 13, the First Affiliated Hospital of GMU (FAHGMU) started helicopter rescue to transport a patient with pelvic fracture and hemorrhagic shock.

Around 11:00 a.m., the emergency department of the hospital received a first aid call. A patient with pelvic fracture and hemorrhagic shock in Dayu County People's Hospital needed to be transferred to the FAHGMU for emergency treatment. After receiving the call, the FAHGMU immediately launched the "Air 120" medical emergency rescue, mobilized Jinhui aviation emergency helicopter and air medical emergency physician Xiong Qiusheng, nurse Li Rong to Dayu County People's Hospital to transfer patients, at the same time started the air emergency procedures, and made all preparations for receiving the patient.

At 12:07 a.m., the helicopter took off from the apron of the Huangjin Area of FAHGMU to the People's Hospital of Dayu County at 12:30 and arrived at the apron near the People's Hospital of Dayu County; at 13:00, it took off from the apron of Dayu County; at 13:23, the helicopter landed steadily on the apron of the Huangjin Area of FAHGMU, and the patients were transferred to FAHGMU smoothly. Dayu is 101 kilometers away from Ganzhou. It takes at least 80 minutes to drive on the high way. It takes only 23 minutes for helicopters to deliver the patients.
It is known that on the afternoon of January 12, Wang Mou, a patient, accidentally fell from a high place while working, resulting in bilateral pelvic fractures, and was admitted to Dayu County People's Hospital around 18:00 on the same day. Due to the serious injury, on the morning of January 13, the Dayu County People's Hospital transferred Wang Mou to the FAHGMU for treatment at the request of his family members. Because of pelvic fracture and hemorrhagic shock, it is easy to cause secondary injury if the patient is transported through the common 120 Ambulance. The FAHGMU launched the first aid helicopter for Wang Mou according to the requirements of Wang Mou's family members and the patient's condition.
