FAHGMU Holds the International Nurses’ Day Commendation Conference

    On the evening of May 13, the First Affiliated Hospital of GMU (FAHGMU) held a commendation conference to celebrate the “International Nurses’ Day" in Huangjin Branch. More than 200 participants, including the leaders, honor winners and nurses’ representatives, attended the conference.

    The Conference opened in the dance “Xingfu Baihua Kai” or "Happy Flowers Blossom". Zhang Xiaokang, GMU Vice-President and FAHGMU Party Committee Secretary, addressed the nursing colleagues with festival greetings and lofty respect, and fully affirmed the achievements of the nursing team in the FAHGMU. 1,492 nurses in the FAHGMU will be expected to continue to carry forward Nightingale spirit in their nursing work, and strive for success and strength for patients, FAHGMU and great health undertakings.

    The conference had the unveiling ceremony for the "Popular Nursing Education Base of the Chinese Nursing Society". Zhang Xiaokang and Zou Xiaofeng jointly did the unveiling.

    FAHGMU President Zou Xiaofeng read out the list of winners of various nursing awards at all levels from 2018 to 2019.
    Accompanied by happy music, the leaders of FAHGMU presented awards to the winners and took group pictures with them.


    Yu Hong, a representative of “Excellent Nurses of Jiangxi Province”, and Ye Hua, a representative of “Excellent Nurses of Ganzhou”, respectively delivered award-winning speeches, in which they told the experience and perception in nursing work, and pointed out that love and dedication were the regretless choices of angels in white clothes.

    The three award-winning works from Xiao Liqun, Li Li and Lu Lu were presented. In the course of the speech, the climax came up and the applause continued.

    The conference approached to the end after the speech of Peng Lei, a member of the FAHGMU Party Committee and Secretary of the General Students’ Party Branch of the FAHGMU.
