On the afternoon of October 29, GMU carried out the first aid skills training for the new staff in terms of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and defibrillation in the Medical Practical Skills Training Center (MPSTC) of Huangjin Campus. More than 50 new staff took part in it.

During the training, the new staff listened to the theoretical teaching carefully with full enthusiasm and carried out the cardiopulmonary resuscitation simulation training operation. Under the patient guidance of the training instructor, they mastered the emergency procedures, steps and operation points. After the training, the trainees indicated to have benefited a lot.

In recent years, in order to give a display to the characteristics of GMU, make all staff master the emergency knowledge and enhance the awareness of mutual rescue and self-protection of teachers and students, the MPSTC has carried out emergency skills training for all teachers and students. In the 2018-2019 academic year, more than 10,000 students have been trained and more than 800 teaching staff (including security personnel and dormitory management personnel) have been trained. Through training, all teachers and students have mastered the knowledge of pre-hospital first aid and emergency treatment of common emergencies.
