GMU Students Win the 2nd Prize in the 1st NCSPCTC

    On December 27, hosted by the Higher Education Psychology Professional Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education and China Psychological Society, the 1st National College Students Psychological Counseling Teaching Competition (NCSPCTC) in 2019 opened in Wenling. Miao Pingping, a Batch 2016 Applied Psychology Majors, participated in the competition on behalf of GMU. With profound theoretical foundation, solid teaching skills and calm performance, she stood out from many competitors and won the second prize.

    The competition is divided into two stages, the preliminary and the final. 144 schools and 44 competitors from all over the country enter the final. The final focuses on the knowledge application ability, psychological guidance skills, on-site teaching level and clinical response ability of the contestants, which are conducted in the form of on-site teaching. Contestants draw lots, prepare lessons and give lectures on site.
    Miao Pingping said that through the competition, she improved her psychological guidance skills and teaching ability, and strengthened her belief in joining the Chinese Mental Health Service Team.
