GMU Students Gained Remarkable Accomplishments in the Mainland Tryouts of National University Brand Planning Contest

      On the 27th and 28th of April, the National University Business Elite Brand Planning Challenge & the 2nd Mainland Tryouts of National University Brand Planning Contest in 2013 were held at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE). The Zhaoxiang Team, the Pharmaceutical Marketing Majors college class of Batch 2011, and the Yifang Team, the Public Service Management Majors undergraduate class of Batch 2011, directed by Professor Huang Longgang of the School of Humanities & Social Sciences, respectively won the second and third prizes. Meanwhile, GMU was eva luated as “theBest University Organization Prize” by the organizing committee.
      54 teams from 27 universities in China participated in the contest covering Presentation and on-the-spot Answer. In the Presentation, teams introduced their works through PPT in terms of Brand Strategy, Brand Planning, Brand Establishment, Brand Promotion and Financial Plan. In the on-the-spot Answer, the judges asked the contestants questions to see their performance and the contestants answered the questions in detail. After the contest, not only were boosted students’ capacities for brand planning and practice, also they accumulated the precious experience for the national contests in the future.
